Go Find HIm
Read this list of questions slowly. Take them in. Let them marinate.
Are you sad today? Are you frustrated with where your life is? Is there anything you’re worried about or afraid to face? Are you confused about the things that have happened to you lately? Is your heart heavy with the weight of something you did that you wish you hadn’t done? Are you just really tired of people right now? Are you feeling empty (even though you hate feeling that way)?
Whatever you’re feeling, there’s a place you can go. There’s a place you take all of those emotions and leave them. There’s Someone who cares about you who always has time to listen. There’s Someone waiting who wants to hear you out, cry with you and comfort you. There’s Someone who’s always ready to forgive you. There’s a place you can go if you need acceptance, love, peace and wisdom. There’s Someone who wants you to know that you’re never alone.
If you want to find Him, He’ll gladly spend the whole day with you. You can find Him in the middle of a crowded room, ready to save the day when no one is looking. You can find Him at night, if you want to be left alone. You can find Him offering Living Water to satisfy the thirsty. He heals people don’t know they’re ready and provides more than the hungry can eat. He’s the One who said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Go find Him. Open the book and ask Him to meet you. Tell Him you need love. Tell Him you need help. Tell Him you want to know Him. He’s right here. Go ahead. Find Him.
