The Universal Church as the Body of Christ
1 Corinthians 12:12-13 – "For just as the body is one and has many members... so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit."
Ephesians 1:22-23 – "And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all."

The Church is Made Up of All Who Trust in Jesus as Savior

As a Church We are Called to Unity
John 17:21 – "That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."
Ephesians 4:3-6 – "Eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."

Loving One Another
